1 Inception
Public/third sector landowner meets with PBH manager to discuss potential site for housing delivery via PBH.
2 Initial assessment
PBH manager undertakes high level initial feasibility to determine suitability for housing delivery and prisoner involvement costs to determine programme delivery.
3 Optional appraisals
PBH manager meets with landowner to discuss PBH housing provider options, costs, delivery timescales, potential financial and other support needs.
4 Delivery Approach
Landowner confirms preferred delivery approach with PBH Manager.
5 Procurement
Landowner procures and appoints PBH housing provider.
6 Detailed Design
Intrusive surveys, design and detailed costings carried out
7 Planning
Planning application submitted and planning permission received.
8 Delivery
PBH housing provider builds & assembles home whilst training prisoners.
